Remastered her battle theme to accompany the pic! * [link] *

Whew finally I am done with this tribute pic haha, took me about 20-30+ hours. Some parts on her I'm unhappy with but I think I did fairly good on the overall picture and capturing her fierceness.
I also used the motion blur to help capture the movement in her tail's' and hair.

Breath of Fire III was one of my most favorite in the series, as the story, music, artwork totally captivated me (regardless that some people insist the plot is boring and unoriginal but hey like they could do any better, right?)

Now comparing the piece to the in game sprite, and the concept art, I decided to use only one set of horns like in the concept art, have the feathers on her arms rather then her arms being wings like in the sprite, and try to incorporate the elevator lights into the background that was in the game's intro to the final battle.
I have another version of her with her eyes closed in peace as that is actually her default look and a white background which gives it more depth and a greater feeling of movement.

And I'll leave a quote from her before you engage in combat.

*CAUTION MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS*

"It pains me... It grieves me, my children... That I must take up arms against you, against the very life I have sworn to protect...
But you must understand, Ryu... I can't let you... your power roam free in the world.
To protect the lives of my other children I must become unto a Fury...

Farewell, my children..."
